ANTENATAL CLINIC

The antenatal clinics are run on a Tuesday lunch time, our GP's offer a high level of care to our pregnant patients by providing antenatal care along side the community mid-wives, we also offer a GP home visit following the birth of your baby.

CHILD HEALTH

Checks on your child’s growth and development and immunisations are carried out by a Doctor and Health Visitor. We will let you know when these checks are due.

COUNSELLING

We have two counsellors who carry out sessions from the practice. 
Please see your GP if you wish to be referred.

FAMILY PLANNING AND CONTRACEPTION

All doctors give contraceptive advice. A full range of services are available at the surgery including emergency contraception, coil and implant fitting. We offer pre-pregnancy counselling.

HEALTH PROMOTION

Health checks, including screening for heart disease with blood pressure and cholesterol checks, are available by making an appointment with the Practice Nurse.

We encourage all newly registered patients, those over the age of 75, and those not seen in the last 3 years to attend these.

MINOR SURGERY

We undertake a range of minor surgery procedures at the Health Centre.

SPECIALIST CLINICS

We offer dedicated appointments for Diabetes, Asthma, Hypertension, Respiratory Disease and Heart Disease.

TEENAGERS

As part of our teenage friendly service our 14 year old patients are invited for a teenage health check when their school leavers booster is due.

WELL WOMEN SERVICE

Women have routine cervical smears with the Practice Nurses. All women between 25 and 64 will be invited for these when they are due. You are also welcome to see a Practice Nurse for a well woman check. It is helpful if you let our receptionist know if you want a smear or well woman check when you make an appointment.
